Tasting memories of the past

When developing new products, we believe it's important not only to taste them ourselves but also to hear the opinions of people who know better than anyone how a *real* pancake should taste. For many older people, a pancake evokes memories of the past: sitting together at the table, the smell of freshly baked pancakes in the house, and recipes passed down through generations.

During the afternoon, there was plenty of tasting, testing, and, above all, enjoyable conversation. The residents shared their honest opinions on taste, texture, and experience. These genuine reactions are incredibly valuable to us.

The tasting resulted in great conversations, lots of smiling faces and, of course, empty plates. One of the comments that stayed with us the most was: “This is how pancakes should taste.”

For us, this confirms why we do what we do. We don't just want to develop new products, but primarily create products that bring people together and evoke a feeling of warmth and coziness.

We would like to thank all the residents and carers from Sint Nicolaashof for coming, their enthusiasm and valuable feedback. Thanks to you, we not only had a lovely afternoon, but we can also continue to work on our new pancake line with even more confidence.
